History

Arbor-Tek Ltd was formed in 2003 and is locally owned and operated by Joe Berryman. Joe trained in England and has over 35 years of experience working in both New Zealand and UK as a Utility Arborist.
Along with a modern fleet of vehicles, tools and equipment, Arbor-Tek Ltd has 16 employees and the availability of other resources that enable us to execute work efficiently and effectively.
All our senior staff are qualified arborists. We aim to have the most experienced staff who are available to us, but we also actively encourage young people into our industry, offering training opportunities.
Together the team asserts unrivalled experience as one of the leading Arboricultural Companies in Canterbury, NZ.
In The Community

Safety
We follow industry safe work practices and all staff are traffic management qualified. We are fully insured and all our staff are either qualified or in training.

Joe Berryman – Director & Arborist
Certificate 4 in Arboriculture – Joe has over 35 years experience as a qualified arborist, training in England where he worked in the industry for ten years before returning to New Zealand.
Bernie Jordan – Director & Utility Arborist
Bernie has 17 years experience as a qualified utility arborist.
